What is the Scanner?
The scanner is a tool that lets you take a photo of your vinyl records. It identifies each record, looks up its value on Discogs, and creates a file you can upload to Amazon to list them for sale.
Click the blue "Open Scanner" button at the top of this page to use it.
What do the number cards at the top mean?
Total Scans shows how many times you've used the scanner. Each time you photograph a batch of records counts as one scan.
Records Processed is the total number of individual records identified across all your scans.
Market Value is the combined Discogs value of all records you've scanned. This is what they're currently selling for online.
Flagged for Review means some records need a second look. Either they're worth a lot of money (over $100) or the scanner wasn't confident in its identification. Green means everything looks good. Orange means check those records.
Form Leads shows how many people have filled out the contact form on your website (dontstopcollecting.com).
What is "Recent Scans"?
This is a list of every time you've used the scanner. It shows the date, how many records were in that batch, how many were matched on Discogs, the total value, and how long it took to process.
What is "Recent Leads"?
When someone visits your website and fills out the contact form to sell their records, their name, phone number, and message show up here. This is how you know someone wants to sell you vinyl.
How do I delete something?
Click the "Delete" button next to any row. It will turn red and say "Sure?" to make sure you meant to click it. Click it again within 3 seconds to confirm. If you change your mind, just wait and it goes back to normal.
To delete everything in a section, click "Clear All" above the table.
How do I refresh the data?
Click "Refresh" in the top bar. The dashboard updates automatically when you first sign in, but if you've been on the page for a while, hit Refresh to see the latest.
What does "Open Scanner" do?
It opens the record scanning tool in a new tab. From there, you can take a photo of up to 9 records at a time. The scanner will identify them, look up prices, and give you a file to upload to Amazon.
What does "View Website" do?
It opens your public website (dontstopcollecting.com) in a new tab. This is the site your customers see when they want to sell records to you.
How do I sign out?
Click "Sign Out" in the top bar. You'll need to enter your password again next time. Your session also ends automatically when you close the browser tab.
